Effective March 7th, 2013

UPDATE The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has corrected it's previously released statement regarding the effective date of it's newly revised I-9 Form. In its original statement, the USCIS said that older forms could not be used after May 7, 2013. In its correction, the agency clarified that the old forms could no longer be used commencing May 7.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has published a revised Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 for use. All employers are required to complete an I-9 form for every employee hired in the United States. We are providing our customers with a helpful link to download the revised I-9 form.

As well as formatting changes, the I-9 Form has been updated to include new fields and instructions to both employers and employees. The new form becomes effective 03/07/13:
